After decades assisting communities through HUD Technical Assistance work and collaborating with FEMA and the American Red Cross (ARC) in dozens of natural disasters, Canavan Associates has seen it all. OUR EXPERTISE

Canavan Associates has more than 20 years of experience in social services, technology, data collection, disaster response, and homeless services. Our Managing Director, David, led the HUD response after Hurricane Katrina and was a high level decision maker during the COVID 19 crisis.  He has connections to the CDC, Health Care for the Homeless, the American Red Cross, and FEMA. The team continues to regularly deploy onsite to assist with rapid rehousing and other undertakings. After 20 years thinking through how to end homelessness and putting theory into practice, the team is uniquely qualified to help systems rethink the way we deliver homeless systems. Our team has a long history of transforming government systems and communities' delivery of homeless services. Put simply, we can help you rethink how to house people.
